writes Angel Cake, a newsletter that covers a range of topics spanning from fashion to the intricacies of friendship to the eternal relevance of Sex and the City to things she hates. She lives in Greenwich Village in an apartment she adores where her bathtub is in her kitchen and she always has at least three candles burning at once. • Decaf coffee after dinner

  • The sign of a really good dinner is lingering long enough to ask the waiter, “do you have a decaf coffee?” I am a big dessert enthusiast as are my favorite dining companions. We tend to shut down a restaurant more often than not because we prefer late reservations and enjoy sitting in the theatrics of a dinner with decaf coffee of course being the dramatic red velvet curtain of the final act.
